Eye Protection Safety Advice
Summary of our seminar
EYE PROTECTION |
The eyes, our most important sense organ, are sensitive to the diverse dangers which can occur at work. Therefore different types of protective equipment for the eyes are available. When making a selection it must be ensured that they offer the required protection in conjunction with a high level of comfort and a modern design.
Protective glasses in which the frame has a basket-shaped body made of soft, elastic material so that the glasses fully enclose the eye area and nestle against the face.
Parts of the eye protection which consist of the holder, wearing supports, connection elements and, if necessary, additional parts.
Protection against striking objects and other impact.
These consist of wearing supports and safety visors which protects the face and - depending on the length and extensions, e.g. aprons - also parts of the neck. They are worn on the safety helmet or with wearing supports directly on the head. The visors can be fixed to the wearing supports so that they are rigid, easily replaceable or fold upwards. |
